Music Fab: 'Ore mi' by Nigerian Idol's Zoe Chinaka

It is a brand new single titled 'Ore Mi', a wedding song by Zoe Chinaka, fifth runner up on the Nigerian Idol Reality TV Show, 2011.

Okay so now , we had the cute priviledge of meeting with the sultry songstress and here's what she had to say...

NMW: Hello , please tell us a lil' more about yourself

Zoe': Am zoe chinaka AKA dancing queen AKA God's princess "chuckles"..lol, basicaly am a singer {Gospel RNB artiste}, writer, dancer and stand-up compere who studied mass comunication in ABSU and i love to give thats the only time i feel really 'cool' lol. Am reserved but brave enough to face anything... yea thats me.

NMW: Please tell us the inspiration behind your new video and song 'ore mi'?

Zoe': First of all i'd like to give a shout-out to you guys for making weddings alot more lovely and interesting in Nigeria with more insight... well recently alot of my friends have been getting married and a few divorced or having trouble in their marriages so i did a bit meditating and reading and in conclusion i gathered that "marriage wasnt meant for strangers", its meant for lovers and 'FRIENDS', you know so i began writing with the aim of not just entertaining but also reminding everyone one of the pillars that keep the marriage, same reason that birth the title "Ore mi" meaning my friend.

NMW: Nice, so tell us the idea behind the video, its never been done before..

Zoe': Two things birth the concept, first the title being Yoruba that is Nigerian and second Beyonce's video 'Best Thing I Never Had', i absolutely loved her simplicity and the whole garden feel making it all Eco-friendly and so i started writing the script for the video and when i had it together i presented to my director, it was fun but stressful since i also had to do some directing.

NMW: It was so nice to meet with zoe', please whats next for you music, marriage , Album projects?

Zoe': Hahahaha ...I like to keep personal things private lol but errmm since , as you can see am not wearing any ring {waving her hands in my face} lol, am 'single', as for music, this is just the beginning and hopefully before April i'll be realeasing my Album, so stay with me.

We absolutely were surprised {in a beautiful way} at her outfits in the video and then the song was amazing waoh she's got lovely and clean vocals... now my coleague is thinking of making an ankara wedding gown hahahaha.
