SO another idea that we think our vendors and brides-to-be will love is the use of Tissue Pom poms and Pomanader balls (also known as kissing balls).
They are kind of similar to the idea of using floating / hanging paper lanterns, which can even be used together with the tissue pom poms.
According to internet sources, they are very easy to make (for the do it yourself / DIY bride-to-be and vendor). They are also inexpensive (if you are making them yourself), which is good for the bide or wedding vendor with a tight budget.
Tissue pom poms
The tissue pom poms are very lovely decoration items for bridal showers, weddings and other events
For the vendors who love to try new stuff, see this video tutorial from SupaFlowaPowa on youtube or this picture tutorial from MarthaStewart.com on how to make them.

If you do not have time to make them, they can be bought from PomLove on Etsy.
Flower Pomander balls (Kissing balls)
The flower pomanders are also easy to make if you want to go the DIY route an are very versatile in the way they can be used which includes but is not limited to use as the bouquet for the bride and the bridal party.
Though they are easy to make, the materials needed to make them differ a bit from the materials needed to make the tissue pom poms. Here is a video tutorial and a picture tutorial (with silk / fake flowers) and this other picture tutorial (with handmade paper flowers) on how to do the flower pomander.
Here are som pics of the ways in which they can be used:

As the bridesmaids' bouquet

As the bridal bouquet

As decoration on the pews in church

For the little bridesmaid or flower girl
If you do not have the time to make them, you can buy them from Bizou Bizou (in unique designs and with different materials) on Etsy.
So what do you guys think? Have you seen anything like this at naija weddings?
Do you love it or hate, would you use it, would you try and make it? Let us know what you think and don't forget to share this so another bride-to-be or vendor can benefit from this idea!
