Namywedding.com is all about and in-love with all things weddings, and Beyonce's new video for her single Best Thing I Never Had, happens to somehow fall into this category of lovable wedding things!
Some of you might roll your eyes and others might ask what Beyonce's video has got to do with weddings, but we will let you watch the video and see for yourself!
So let us tell you what do WE think!
For starters her wedding lingerie is abslutely adorable! As in, somebody say hot and sexy! We guaranty that if any hubby-to-be walked into a room to see his wife-to-be looking like that, that wedding will definitely be a lot shorter than planned (for obvious reasons)! ;)
Did anyone notice the hair and make-up? The make-up is so subtle and yet still strong enough to make all her features pop! Remember that on your d-day you do not want any heavy make-up so that you don't look grimy as the day wears on and all the activity starts to take its toll on your face.
Your look should be subtle and refined so you that you give off a fresh look to your face at all times through out the day!
Her hair? All we have to say is simple and elegant! Love the cute double bun at the back. It it whimsical and girlie and goes with the over all fresh look of her face!
The tiara? Hhmmm, the tiara... we can only say it is the perfect finish!
Her gown is simply a delight! For those of us who love the fairy tale princessy look, we know you are all for that gown! The gold detail on the bodice, on the skirt and on the train, was just right and complemented the champagne coloured dress perfectly!
Simply dreamy!
At the reception, we see that she has let down her hair and changed into something more relaxed and less bulky, which allows for adequate showing off of dance moves (as clearly seen in the video) and other recption activities!
Did you notice the garter removal? No wonder Nigerian brides quietly toss the bouquet and leave the groomsmen out of it! Our parents and family members would faint! That is one tradition that will take a LONG time to reach Nigerian weddings!
The overall princess fairy tale outside wedding was beautiful and we love the relaxed feel of it!
As regards the message behind the song, we think that it is good for all brides to take time out for themselves on their day and reflect on all the relatonships that they have been through in the past and to thank God for where they are at that moment.
Simply take a minute to reflect and bask in the feelings of happiness because even though you might have had some rough relationships, you were finally get over them and the hurting that they brought you. Be happy that after everything, you have met and about to be joined with your own prince becuase at that moment on that day, those relatioships are the best thing you never had!
After that smile and picture yourself as the Mrs you will soon be, shrug off the past and get on with the enjoying one on the most important days of your life!
All in all a beautiful and dreamy wedding... oops, sorry we meant video! LOL!
So what do you guys think about the video and all the the wedding details in it? Drop some comments!
