Whenever wedding gifts are mentioned, a lot of us are guilty of immediately picturing a dinnerware set. Imagine you had a guest list numbering up to 500 people, and one quarter of them thought it would be nice to get you a dinnerware set.
We know right… NIGHTMARE!!!
Even if you lived to be 150 and threw a lavish party every 6 months, you probably still wouldn't use all those dishes, and we haven't even started on the storage space.
True story: one of our colleagues here at namywedding.com got 5 pressure cookers and then had to go out and shop for a blender.
Ok so enough with the scary gift stories. The whole idea of wedding gifts is to provide the couple with things they would need to start up in their new life together. People are usually at a loss for what to get as wedding gifts.
That's why, we have provided you with the idea of wedding/gift registries. With this, we hope to make your job a lot easier, the couple a lot happier and totally eliminate the occurence of multiple gifts of the same nature. However, since the idea hasn't quite caught on in this part of the world, we will just give a few ideas that are simple, inexpensive and that the couple will definitely love and appreciate.
The idea is to basically run through the home 'room to room', and find what you can contribute to each room, thus helping the couple build a home. It helps if you can categorize the gifts, and then pick out a category that is not really common and get a gift from there.
We are going to categorize based on the rooms in a house and give you the price ranges of these items from the Game store in The Palms Shopping Mall:
NB: Pls note that these images do not show the exact items from the Game store.

We could go on but we are quite sure or we hope that you get the idea. Remember to be thoughtful, creative or both. The more effort you put into your gift, the more appreciated it will be. Also try to consult friends and family of the couple for their tastes so as not to go amiss in your shopping.
Remember that gifts are not just physical or material so always send a gift of prayers and blessings to the couple.
Feel free to make suggestions and share a bit of your wedding gifts and perhaps what you would have wanted.
