We surveyed about to marry couples in Nigeria and found some really interesting stats, yes we now know it all and will serve you the juicy details now

Fact: Ladies if you are older than your boyfriend, then there is only a 5% chance he will walk you down the altar!!!
you don’t believe this? Well in our survey 95% of the couples had an older man in the relationship, whatever happened to the age ain’t nothing but a number saying?..... These our Naija guys sef, are they still in the dark ages? The average age difference thing isn’t so big out there again, don’t despair though as there is a 12% chance he will marry you if you are the same age. We need to educate our men as studies by Sven Drefahl at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rosktock, Germany, shows that the greater the age gap between a woman and her husband, the shorter her life expectancy, regardless of whether he is older or younger. In short reduce the age difference if you want to live longer ;-)
Fact: Ladies if you are from the same tribe as your boyfriend there is a 60% chance he will walk you down the altar!!!!
Another interesting fact we got from the survey, this however shows the tolerance between the tribes in Nigeria is increasing as 40% of the marriages were intertribal. The Naija thing is really catching on with the young people, the favorite tribes to marry were the Efiks and Ibibios (no surprises here, our men still love their Afang and loving *winks*). Interesting though, coming up with good numbers was the Igbo-Yoruba combo which has become quite common with 10% of our couples from this zone (sure Awo and Azikiwe will be quite surprised).
