I know what u mean, story of my life. You need to just be patience. Just allow her to continue, unless things will get worse. The worst thing you need is her hating him more and more and it's gonna cause more arguments & resentments. I am presently expereincing the same, but u know what, I am staying calm. My own mum, became very dependent on me, over 5 years, when she was very sick,& I was the last child of 5 & the only one who stuck around,.and so the thought of me leaving her to get married, scares her. She is all better now. But she does not want me to go,that love & close bond, causes this kind of situations. Parents always feel they are losing, but I believe they gain on both sides. But if you have an family elder or pastor she respects, try explaining the situation to them & see if they can help you speak to your mum, so she can consider the person you intend to marry.
